Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to work within the Manned Guarding & Security Systems Industry and join our growing team.
You will be joining a well-established, highly successful team selling Manned Guarding and associated security services to industry. It will be essential that you are an experienced Sales professional who values brand integrity, building relationships and adding value to clients’ and the wider business.
Your role will involve generating and identifying qualified leads, sales conversion and tender writing; with added support from the wider business where required. You will be expected to meet well-defined revenue and margin targets, ensuring sustainable growth for the business. You will be required to manage your sales process from identification through to order.
It is essential that you are a confident and accomplished Sales Professional with at least 3 years’ proven experience in a similar role within the industry. You will hold a full and up-to-date SIA licence, or will be prepared to undertake the necessary training to obtain one and will have a consistent and demonstratable sales history; ideally handling medium to high value manned guarding contracts or delivering sales within a similar industry.
Your role will cover the South Wales and West of England region and is ideally suited to individuals currently working as a Business Development Manager responsible for selling Manned Guarding and associated security services.
This role is also suited to a current Sales Manager or Account Manager who is looking for a new opportunity. It is essential that you are comfortable with regular travel for the successful fulfilment of this role.
