The 84-hour Week
The 84-hour guarding schedule provides your business premises with 7-day coverage, for 12-hours per day. This coverage is the least common of the three most common guarding shift patterns, and usually aims to cover the dark hours of the site. A common start and finish time for this service would be 6am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday.
The 108-hour Week
The 108-hour guarding schedule provides your business premises with 7-day coverage, for 12-hours per day Monday to Friday and 24-hour coverage Saturday and Sunday. This coverage is probably the most common of the three guarding shift patterns discussed in this post.
It aims to cover the dark hours of the site during the week and provides full coverage over the weekend. A common start and finish time for this service would be 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday; with two split shifts over the weekend.
The 168-hour Week
The 168-hour guarding schedule provides your business premises with 7-day coverage, for 24-hours per day. This coverage is a common guarding shift pattern, and usually aims to cover both the daylight and dark hours of the site. Often this pattern is split into two 12-hour shifts, running from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am.
